Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Working closely with patients who were experiencing pain or lacked access to proper dental care showed me the profound impact a dentist can have. Whether it was relieving discomfort or restoring confidence through a renewed smile, these experiences confirmed my desire to pursue a career where I could help others in such a direct and tangible way.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Ghaly earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in 2017. Following dental school, Dr. Ghaly pursued advanced clinical training through a General Practice Residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, where she completed two additional years of comprehensive education in all aspects of dentistry. This advanced training included experiences in dental surgery, endodontic therapy, and Invisalign treatment, earning Invisalign certification during residency.
After completing residency in 2019, Dr. Ghaly practiced for six years in a busy, multi-doctor practice in North Carolina, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. She recently relocated to Texas and is excited to continue to bring a patient-centered, evidence-based approach to dentistry.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Outside of the office, Dr.Ghaly enjoys spending time outdoors exploring new trails, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and spending time with her husband and Goldendoodle, Lily.
